Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Experienced Speech-Language Pathologist needed for an elementary school setting in Wilmington, DE. This contract position supports student communication development throughout the current school year (CSY) in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy services for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and communicate results regularly.
- Attend team meetings and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development milestones and disorders.
- Ability to tailor interventions to meet the diverse needs of elementary-aged children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
